Privacy Policy

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Aimlitics LLC (“we”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use PropGolf. By using the Service you consent to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

Authentication is handled by Clerk. When you sign up, Clerk collects your name, email address, and (if you use a social provider) the basic profile fields that provider shares. We receive a Clerk user ID and, on request, the email address tied to your account.

2.2 Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details and billing address directly — we never see or store them. We receive and store: your Stripe customer ID, your subscription/session ID, your plan tier, the status of your subscription, and the expiry date of your access. Stripe's privacy practices are described at stripe.com/privacy.

2.3 Usage information

We collect:

  • Which bets you choose to track (stored against your user ID in our database);
  • The number of Caddie messages you send per day (for daily cap enforcement);
  • Server logs containing your request IP, user agent, and request paths (standard Vercel access logs, retained per Vercel's retention policy);
  • Error reports if the app crashes for you (no personal content captured by default).

2.4 Caddie conversations

Messages you send to Caddie are sent to Anthropic for processing. We do not currently persist the content of individual Caddie messages in our database — only counts for cap enforcement. Anthropic's data-handling practices are described at anthropic.com/privacy.

3. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and personalize the Service;
  • To process payments and manage your subscription;
  • To enforce usage caps, paywalls, and acceptable-use rules;
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, billing notifications, security alerts);
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse;
  • To analyze aggregate usage and improve the Service;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party processors

We rely on the following sub-processors. Each receives only the data necessary to perform its function:

  • Clerk — authentication and user identity
  • Stripe — payment processing and billing
  • Supabase — application database (hosted on AWS)
  • Vercel — hosting, edge compute, and serverless functions
  • Anthropic — Caddie AI inference
  • [ADD: Sentry / PostHog / Resend / etc. as you wire them]

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar technologies for: keeping you signed in (Clerk session cookie), remembering UI preferences (e.g. selected sportsbook toggle), and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

6. Data retention

We retain account and billing information for as long as your account is active, plus the period required to satisfy our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Tracked-bets and usage records are retained while your account is active and may be deleted on request. Aggregate analytics data may be retained indefinitely in de-identified form.

7. Your rights

You can:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Request that we correct inaccurate information;
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data;
  • Cancel any active subscription via the billing portal at any time;
  • Opt out of non-essential email communications.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@propgolf.app. We'll respond within 30 days. Note that we may need to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations even after a deletion request.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — including TLS in transit, encrypted storage at our processors, scoped service-role credentials, and limited administrative access. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and the betting context the Service relates to is restricted to 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for U.S. users. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from your jurisdiction's.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
